Image Models is a benchmark. Every AI image model we can run gets the same prompts, and the results sit side by side so you can judge them yourself instead of taking anyone’s word for it.
The problem this exists to solve is simple: every model launches with its own cherry-picked gallery, generated from its own prompts, at its own settings. Those images tell you nothing about how the model behaves on your prompt. A fixed prompt set, run across everything, does.
How the benchmark works
- One prompt set, written to cover distinct failure modes rather than to flatter anything, and grouped into categories: typography and posters, portraits, product shots, food, landscape, architecture, illustration, logos, fashion, 3D renders, animals, sci-fi, infographics, vehicles, macro, counting and composition, hands, glass and reflections, and world scripts.
- Every model receives the identical prompt. No per-model rewriting, no hand-tuned settings, no retries to get a better frame.
- Results are scored on the same axes each time: prompt adherence, style fidelity, quality and detail, realism and anatomy, composition and framing, and look and lighting.
- Every generated image stays published, including the bad ones. A benchmark that only shows successes is a gallery.
The model list and the prompt set both keep growing, and scores are re-run when a model is updated, so treat the leaderboard as current rather than final.
